Gaskets reinforced with steel ring

Gaskets that are ferruled with a steel ring are much more durable than those without. We reinforce gaskets to increase their resistance to temperature and pressure, significantly raising their values above the base statistics of the boards themselves. For example, reinforcement increases the maximum temperature of gaskets made of expanded graphite from 600°C up to 650°C.
